With the increased prevalence of psychiatric disorders in human medicine, more medications that cause serotonergic agonism are being created and dispensed, which undoubtedly has increased the incidence of accidental ingestions by small animal patients. This presentation will cover the pathophysiology, clinical signs, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of serotonin syndrome in small animals.
