Discusses nursing theory and how it applies to veterinary technicians. Technicians are making the leap to being called "veterinary nurses." With this leap, there comes an evolution in how we conduct ourselves professionally. Understanding how to design and implement nursing plans will give us an edge when it comes to patient care. Participants of this course will learn how to communicate effectively as a member of the veterinary care team, how to think critically about their patients and how to effectively design a nursing care plan.
