Dental Emergencies: What Can Wait and What Can't

True dental and oral emergencies are uncommon, although a few problems require immediate attention. During this lecture, we will discuss the rationale for triaging dental and oral conditions to determine which problems are urgent or emergent. The decision-making process is important for general practitioners whether a case is being treated in-house or being referred for specialty care.
