This series of lectures covers GI surgery. Specific topics are based on the time allotted. Topics normally covered include: deciding on the need for abdominal (GI surgery), techniques for preforming a gastrotomy, various techniques for obtaining an intestinal biopsy, techniques for closing enterotomy incisions (including specific suturing review and recommendations), performing an intestinal resection and anastomosis.
