Daniel Y. Sze, MD PhD, is Professor of Interventional Radiology at Stanford University School of Medicine, practicing at Stanford University Medical Center and the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. His team performs a wide variety of clinical research, including on interventional oncology, venous occlusive and thromboembolic disease, portal venous interventions, and advanced imaging. Much of the research is now focused on interventional oncology, including radioembolization, chemoembolization, ablation, HIFU, immunotherapy, and oncolytic virotherapy. Stanford Medical Center's location on a university campus in Silicon Valley, the hub of biotechnology, medical devices, and venture capital, allows the team to engage in extensive interdisciplinary collaboration.
