Peter Krajsa is Co-Chair and Founder of the National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF), a mission-based, public benefit lender focused on promoting energy savings by increasing the affordability of energy efficiency improvements for consumers and businesses. Peter is a recognized innovator in energy efficiency finance having spear-headed the creation of major energy finance programs as CEO of AFC First Financial Corporation, including the national EnergyLoan program; the Keystone Home Energy Loan Program with Pennsylvania Treasury which laid the foundation for WHEEL, the world’s first investment grade rated securitization of unsecured energy loans; Efficiency Maine financing and many other state, utility and contractor-driven financing programs including on-bill financing in Connecticut and Illinois. Prior to founding NEIF with Matthew Brown he headed channel business development for Renew Financial, which acquired AFC First in 2015, as part of its national expansion plans.
He holds a B.S. Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
