Ms. Baxter has 10 years of experience in the sustainability industry with an emphasis on energy efficiency. Her work focuses on residential energy efficiency program development with clients including Pacific Gas & Electric, Consumers Energy, and the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance. She has the ability to identify opportunities and unite the necessary parties. Throughout the Midwest, she saw a multitude of brownfields (polluted land) sitting unused while forests and farms were repurposed for solar developments. She began introducing brownfield owners to solar developers and created a market for Brightfields. Now, she is working on water/energy programs nationwide because she sees an opportunity for power and water utilities to collaborate. She recommends new water/energy programs while identifying partnerships to jointly administer and fund these programs.
