Anna McCreery is a Research Manager at Elevate Energy, a nonprofit dedicated to designing and implementing clean energy and energy efficiency programs that lower costs, protect the environment, and ensure the benefits of clean energy reach those who need them most. As part of Elevate Energy’s research team, Anna conducts research on the impact of different types of ventilation systems on indoor air quality and asthma. She uses statistics and big data analysis to understand residential hourly electricity pricing, housing and respiratory health, energy insecurity, and other topics. She has analyzed over 3.2 billion observations of hourly electricity use among over 200,000 residential customers. Previously, Anna has worked as a researcher and instructor at Ohio State University, in the Department of Sociology and the School of Environment and Natural Resources. She is published in Organization and Environment, Environment and Planning A, and the International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education.
