Join CEDA on this tour of Wentworth Gardens. This 344 unit campus was built in 1945, and fully weatherized in 2018. Construction of this four-square-block development required the demolition of 20 structures, including the baseball park where the White Sox played until 1910. Today, the Sox are a neighbor of the completely rehabbed Wentworth Gardens, which is just a few blocks away from U.S. Cellular Field.
CEDA’s multifamily staff and their engineering partners from Crowley Engineering will lead you through a half-day tour on site. We’ll begin with an in-depth project overview then we’ll tour a variety of building types on campus to see some of the work in the units as well as the extensive mechanical systems.
