Monday Afternoon Workshops
Zero Net Energy building and technology is on the march across the USA and around the world.
Some states and local jurisdictions are already providing tax and other incentives, such as waiving permit fees, for ZNE projects.
Many cities and states have voluntary or mandatory dates certain for implementing ZNE codes. So what is Zero Net Energy?
This session will start with the basic building shell requirements are for ZNE assemblies, and go on to explain what the interior parts and active systems are to achieve a ZNE building. It is more of a how-to than a why-to, course in the future of Zero Net Energy buildings.
