What makes insulation work? Which types are good for which locations? How should they be installed? What about moisture transfer? What about compression? What about gaps? What about air tightness? What about outgassing? What about thermal mass? What about radiant barriers? Is fiberglass evil? Is spray foam idiot-proof? Is dense-pack an air barrier? This session is intended for those who want a basic understanding of insulations and how they work.
