Energy and health partners are experimenting with a range of program integration models to leverage energy program activities to improve the health of those living in the homes where work occurs. This integration ranges from cross referral systems that streamline delivery (One Touch Vermont), to models where health partners help direct clients with home-related health issues to organizations that can offer energy plus health repairs (Washington, Vermont, Massachusetts). Learn about the Weatherization Plus Health program in Washington and recent evaluation results examining program delivery systems, costs, and health outcomes. This session will discuss the BPI Healthy Homes Evaluator credential and uptake throughout the country. Participants will have opportunities to discuss in small groups key program elements needed for success with those doing the work.
