Asthma Essentials- you’ll learn how to apply the Healthy Home Principles to assess the environmental conditions when the occupant(s) have asthma. The general assessment principles are universal but the focus is on asthma triggers and prevention.
We will cover the different types of asthma and the top environmental triggers. You’ll learn the basics of how to perform an asthma home environmental assessment for Medicaid reimbursement, hospitals, private practitioners, clinics or community groups and how this service is one of the newest business opportunities for the Healthy Home evaluator.
Asthma is one of the top health risks in Healthy Home assessment. The number of people with asthma continues to grow. Currently, 1 in 12 people has this chronic environmental disease.
