Attracting, developing and retaining employees has become one of the hardest and most costly issues we face today. This session will address all three using 39 years of experience and the latest social science and behavioral economics. 56 million millennials are in the market place. They now are the largest population we will work with for decades to come. The good news is this session will explore how to motivate and retain them. When we want to motivate people, the most common thing we do is dangle a carrot in front of employees to get more of what we want and use a stick when we want less of something, using if then statements: “If you do this, then I’ll do that.” If you are asking yourself, "how can I better motivate those who work for me?" this is the class for you! If you want to know how to have loyal, happy and proud employees you don’t want to miss this presentation.
