Home performance contractors and practitioners may know what is needed to help advance their industry but they may be too busy doing their jobs to engage enacting policy change. However, there are meaningful ways of ensuring that your voice is heard without taking significant time away from your business. Time is money, but your voice is powerful. This session will inform you of ways that the home performance community is mobilizing and maximizing the voices of home performance professionals around the country, as well as explore the types of policies that can help advance the home performance industry.

• Learn about “The Faces of EE” and how to get involved in this effort to bring voice to those who work in energy efficiency
• Understand what is at risk at the federal and state level and how to have your voice heard without taking time off work
• Learn who to contact to engage in bi-partisan efforts and what policies to be advocating for
