This session is an overview of the Mobile Home Weatherization training done for the State of Illinois Weatherization network. The trainings were done with the "hands on" approach. The trainings took place over an 18 month period in many locations and in all types of weather. The trainees were a mix of state Department of Commerce staff, weatherization agency energy auditors, weatherization contractors and crews.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand the pros and cons of the “hands on approach” of training
• Appreciate the trainee’s experiences before and after the training
• Understand the successes and failures of the training
