The HPXML Working Group is meeting to discuss the strategic direction of HPXML over the next three years as well as resolve several ongoing development issues for version 3.0 (forthcoming 2019). Working group members are encouraged to attend. If you are unable to attend, remote access will be provided.
You may attend the meeting if you are not a working group member, but wish to join the working group and/or learn more about the HPXML. Please note that much of the discussion will assume a certain level of knowledge of HPXML.
AGENDA
1:00pm – 2:00pm Introductions
We’ll hear from working group members how HPXML is being used across the country, and what’s to come
2:00pm – 3:00pm HPXML Strategic Plan
In 2016, HPC authored a strategic plan for increasing the adoption of HPXML over two years. HPC is now in the process of working with working group members, and other stakeholders, to release an updated three-year plan later this year. Working group members will get an overview of the plan, including summary of existing HPXML use cases and impact, three-year goals, and strategies for achieving goals. HPC is interested in getting feedback on the plan’s draft to ensure that it represents the direction of the industry.
3:00pm – 3:15pm Coffee Break
3:15pm – 4:45pm Issue Resolution
During this period, working group members will discuss issues associated with the development and implementation of HPXML, with the expectation of resolving issues for inclusion in HPXML v3.0. Issues that will be discussed will be prioritized from GitHub. Please go to GitHub to indicate the issues you wish to discuss by clicking on the “thumbs-up” emoji on the upper right hand side of the dialogue box.
