Todd Florin is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and an attending physician and Director of Research for the Division of Emergency Medicine at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. He is also the Head of the Grainger Initiative in Pediatric Emergency Medicine Research at Lurie Children’s Hospital. Dr. Florin is a clinical epidemiologist whose research program is focused on developing novel methods that combine clinical factors and biomarkers to risk stratify children with lower respiratory tract infections and improving diagnostic and antimicrobial stewardship for common infections in the acute care setting.
