Dr. Christine Durand is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Oncology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She performs clinical and transitional research focused on health outcomes in individuals infected with HIV and hepatitis C virus who require cancer and transplant therapies. Currently, she is leading several clinical trials exploring the use of organs from donors infected with hepatitis C and/or HIV as innovative strategies to safely expand the donor pool for organ transplantation.
