Dr. Latania Logan is the Chief of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Rush University Medical Center, and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL. She additionally serves as the Hospital Epidemiologist for Rush University Children’s Hospital. Dr. Logan’s federally funded research studies the clinical and molecular epidemiology of multi-drug resistant Enterobacteriaceae infections in children, and this work is supported by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Logan is also the Pediatrician on the Chicago Prevention and Intervention Epi-Center branch of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Epicenters Program which focuses on the control and prevention of healthcare-associated infections.
