This workshop gives you a hands-on opportunity to create instructional content using the new Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) Information Literacy Framework for Higher Education. You will understand the value of integrating threshold concepts—the core ideas guiding thinking and practice—into your teaching. You will learn how to use best practices for developing learning outcomes and how to apply active learning strategies and appropriate classroom assessment techniques. You will leave
the course with a plan to integrate threshold concepts into a lecture or class you teach or wish to teach.

Instructors: Xan Goodman, AHIP, Health Sciences Librarian and Associate Professor, and Samantha Godbey, Education and Psychology Librarian and Associate Professor, University Libraries, University of Nevada–Las Vegas
