Karen Stanley Grigg, MSLS, is the Health Sciences Librarian for Collections and Instruction at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Health Sciences Library. Prior to this position, she was the Science Liaison Librarian at University of North Carolina at Greensboro and started her library career at NCSU Libraries and Duke University Medical Center Library. She has an interest in social justice issues in relation to health care and access to health information. When she’s not working or wrangling a kiddo, a dog, and two cats, she can often be found on the Appalachian Trail.

Terri Ottosen, MLIS, AHIP, is the Community Engagement and Health Literacy Librarian at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Health Sciences Library. Prior to this position, she was the Consumer Health Coordinator for the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Southeastern Atlantic Region. She is an expert in consumer health librarianship, health literacy, and patient advocacy and engagement, having years of experience in providing training and outreach to health professionals, librarians, community organizations, and the general public in these subject areas.
