Education Without Representation: Student Government and Global Mobility

Thursday, November 14
4:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Too often, students participating in international programs do not have access to representative bodies on campus. Students thoughts on policies and initiatives are absent as soon as they leave campus. But Universities should not forget the voices of those who study abroad, study online, or pursue international research. In our modern day it is more critical than ever that our student government platforms be accessible and inclusive. How do we create channels for representation, advocacy, and participation for internationally-mobile populations?
