Leveraging Staff Voices to Promote Inclusive Programs

Thursday, November 14
4:00 PM - 5:30 PM

We all know that money is not the main motivator for staff who work in Education Abroad.  Many have a "calling" to work in the field because of a meaningful experience they had studying or working overseas which they would like to share with students. This poster presentation outlines a strategy for utilizing staff voices to discuss navigating study abroad particularly around identity topics. How might we better incorporate the voices of our staff to speak to race, ethnicity, finance, family, mental health and other impacts to participation on education abroad programs? This poster outlines one strategy. What tools are implemented within your organization?
