What do men think, and what can they do in their roles as managers and mentors? How can men empower women as they pursue leadership roles? Join the group for an interactive discussion on case studies and ideas for progress.

Global Experiences

Kelly Holland is Director for Institutional Relations at Global Experiences in Annapolis, Maryland. She holds a M.Ed. in Comparative & International Education from Lehigh University and a B.A. in International Business Management and Spanish from Moravian College. Prior to joining GE, Kelly served as Associate Director of Study Abroad at Towson University and Interim Director of Study Abroad at Eastern Illinois University and worked for the Spanish Ministry of Education. She also serves in a volunteer leader capacity as Director of Mentoring & Coaching for the Global Leadership League, an organization dedicated to supporting women in international education.

Nigel Cossar

Director, Penn Abroad and Global Programs
University of Pennsylvania

Nigel Cossar leads Penn Abroad, the department overseeing education abroad programs and policy at the University of Pennsylvania. He has worked in education abroad for 16 years, in institutions and not-for-profit organizations both in Australia and the US. Nigel has held previous leadership positions in various international education bodies including the International Education Association of Australia (IEAA), Forum on Education Abroad, and NAFSA, in addition to serving on numerous boards including currently the Consortium for the Advanced Studies Abroad (CASA) and the CIEE Academic Consortium Board. Nigel is responsible for establishing areas of mutual engagement with key bodies and partners internationally for Penn and leads the campus community global student programming. He has presented at numerous education abroad conferences including ACAD, AIEC, APAIE, NAFSA, EAIE and the Forum, and was the Local Arrangements Team Co-Chair at NAFSA 2018 in Philadelphia.

Mark S. Lenhart

Executive Director
CET Academic Programs

Mark Lenhart is Executive Director at CET Academic Programs, a study abroad provider based in Washington, DC. Mark began working for CET in 1990 as the Resident Director of CET's Chinese language program in Harbin, China. After nearly five years studying and working in China, he became CET’s director, overseeing CET’s expansion from a small provider of two Chinese language programs to a much larger organization with programs in eight countries. Today CET is known for high program standards, strong academics, a nimble and collaborative approach to partnerships, and supportive student services. As a student, Mark focused on Asian Studies, Chinese language, photography, and cultural anthropology, and he holds degrees from Bowdoin, Harvard, and the University of Maryland.
