UMBC and JMU will present the growth and changes of their pre-matriculation study abroad programs. In 2018, we discussed the development and intended impact of the programs. This year, we will discuss the effects that the programs had on institutional partnerships and collaboration, increasing diversity and inclusion, and elevating the profile of the Education Abroad Office as well as yield to admitted students in the university.

I'm currently the Associate Director of Education Abroad at UMBC. I have been an international educator for 12 years. After studying abroad in France through ISEP and receiving my bachelor's from UMBC, I pursued a Master's in International Higher Education Leadership from Old Dominion University. I have worked at a total of 4 public US higher education institutions and ended up back at UMBC where I have the privilege of building the education abroad program.
