The role of technology has transformed the way international educators approach their work. In a rapidly digitizing world, technology can offer new solutions to challenges international educators have faced, allowing for improved effectiveness in our jobs. This panel will span KCs and overview some classic challenges in international education and ways that technology can be utilized to overcome or improve those scenarios.

Duff graduated from St. Lawrence University in 2018 with a BA of Economics and Business in the Liberal Arts, and a minor in European Studies. While there, he lived and studied abroad twice in college, first in London his freshmen fall and then in Copenhagen his junior spring. He traveled over 60,000 miles collectivelty for academic purposes, and although young, Duff is now using his experience in education abroad to improve safety & security for students studying abroad through student-centric solutions. His favorite place he's traveled is Iceland, and is excited to help make safety a forethought for student travel.

Rachel Selway

International Student Advisor
University of Delaware

Rachael Selway is an International Student Advisor for international graduate students at the Office for International Student and Scholars at the University of Delaware. In addition to her advising responsibilities, she provides database and systems management support for SEVIS reporting and compliance with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Through her undergraduate and graduate degrees and time spent studying abroad, Rachael developed a specific interest in the field of international student support services and enjoys assisting students with their various immigration, employment, academic and cross-cultural needs and challenges.

Anna Wise

Associate Dean Of Admission And Director Of International Recruitment
Hamilton College

Anna Wise serves as Associate Dean of Admission and Director of International Recruitment at Hamilton College. Anna has previous experience working for a small college of liberal arts, a state flagship institution and a regional public university and has served as the NAFSA Region VIII IEM Liaison and the Study Maryland Recruitment Liaison. She has dedicated her professional career to focusing on responsible, sustainable international student recruitment and counseling that is driven from a passion for international education. In her own academic career, Anna holds an MBA and an EdD from Northeastern University.
