J-1 Advising: Intermediate

Address topics such as eligibility, the bars, pre-arrival and orientation, 212(e), employment, issues around transitions, and working with dependents. This workshop focuses on the most common J categories in higher education and will not include basic procedural training, the trainee category, or foreign medical graduates. Participants should have working knowledge and understanding of immigration and J-1 visa regulations and procedures.

This workshop will run over two days, starting at 12:30 pm Tuesday and ending at noon on Wednesday.
