Melanie Bien, LCSW, has recently joined Gender Health SF as Clinical Director. GHSF is a Public Health program providing access, support and navigation to community members pursuing gender affirming surgeries. Melanie has dedicated her career as an Art Therapist and Social Worker to providing compassionate, self-reflective, humble support to underserved communities. Melanie has been privileged to work with incredible patients and staff SFHOT, The Palliative Care team at SFGH, Maitri, LHH's Positive Care Unit, and at The Native American Health Center of Excellence HIV program
