Alex Lopez is passionate about building positive relationships and using love and compassion to heal from traumatic events & prevent them from happening in the first place. Alex is interested in exploring the impact of toxic relationships and social norms on wellbeing and experiences of violence in gender, sexuality and racial minority populations. To Alex, norm shifting, creating affirming environments, and centering the leadership of those most affected by toxic systems are at the core of violence prevention work.
