Ana Maria del Rio-Gonzalez is an Assistant Research Professor in the Psychology Department at the George Washington University. Her research experience focuses on psychosocial factors associated with the adoption of healthy and risky behaviors, and the design, implementation, and evaluation of effective interventions to promote health and well-being and to decrease health disparities. She is the PI of the CFAR Adelante-funded project "Factors associated with PrEP intentions and use among Latina immigrant transgender women in the DC metropolitan area”.
