After 8 years at Lyon-Martin, JM created Trans Health Consulting to focus on provider education, policy advocacy & case management. JM helps providers integrate trans care organization-wide through trainings & technical assistance; manages Lyon-Martin’s student rotation, NP Residency & TransLine; and serves the SF Office of Trans Initiatives’ Trans Advisory Committee. JM works to appeal & overturn unlawful denials of gender affirming care; they have obtained approval of over 650 surgeries.
