Cierra Burks is a Founding Mother of the Trans Sistas of Color Project. She is also an Associate Producer and star of a web series, Fem Queen Chronicles. Cierra has been a showgirl involved in pageants for over 15 years, capturing the titles of Miss Port Huron, Miss Woodward, and is the current reigning Miss Hotter than July. Cierra was the first transgender person to be valedictorian for the LEAD program of LGBT Detroit, and her accomplishments have been featured in various publications.
