Chance Krempasky is a trans-identified medical provider, cyclist, and meditator. He works as a family and women's health nurse practitioner at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center in New York City, and has been providing care for the LGBTQI communities for the past 8 years. He has presented nationally at conferences and regularly leads courses and focus groups for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. He is also a co-author of Developing Trans*Competence: A Short Guide to Improving Transgender Experiences at Meditation and Retreat Centers, and facilitates workshops for meditation practitioners and teachers on mindfulness of gender, creating trans inclusive sanghas, and more.
