Amanda Koonce is a third-year medical student at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). As a future physician, Amanda is dedicated to the expansion of provider education and the prioritization of informed, inclusive health care for LGTBQ and gender non-conforming communities. She has been a co-leader of the Students for LGBTQ Health group at OHSU, and is involved in the Gender Equity Center, which advocates for increased access and resources for students and staff who experience gender-based violence within medicine.
