This panel will feature presentations from seven organizations funded by CDC’s 17-1704 funding announcement to provide comprehensive high-impact HIV prevention services for young transgender persons of color. Panelists will provide a brief description of their local trans communities, an overview of their program or intervention, and share the successes and challenges to implementation in their local trans communities. A group discussion and Q&A session will follow to allow attendees and panelists to discuss best practices and strategies utilized in response to the challenges in implementing community-based HIV prevention services for young transgender persons in their local communities.
