This is a presentation and open conversation about expressions of privilege within the African American LGBTQ Community and how transgender identified women and men are effected in social settings due to this expression.

 

Learning Objectives:

• Upon completion participants will be able to identify ways to include their transgender counterparts in social settings.
• Upon completion participants will be able to unpack and identify their own privileges and have insight on how they respond to and engage with trans folks of color.
• Upon completion participants will be able to demonstrate acceptance and identify ways to combat transphobia.
