Skills addressed: Strategies and surgeries to feminize or masculinize the chest and pelvic region can cause musculoskeletal problems and movement limitations. People are sometime left to their own resources to find solutions. Physical therapist are skilled at addressing muscle and movement impairments Many conditions can be improved with physical therapy.

 

Learning Objectives:

• Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the connect between breathing and the pelvic floor muscles
• Upon completion, participants will be able to demonstrate 3 exercises to improve shoulder and rib cage mobility
