Dr. Robin Nijveldt started his research career in the VU University Medical Center (Amsterdam, the Netherlands) which resulted in several publications on CMR in no-reflow after acute myocardial infarction, and the efficacy of cell therapy in these patients. After finishing his cardiology training he worked as a post-doctoral research associate in the Duke Cardiovascular MR Center (Durham, North Carolina), after which he returned to the VU University Medical Center. From 2017 he works as faculty at Radboudumc in Nijmegen. He is currently nucleus member of the EACVI CMR section and exam board member of the EACVI CMR exam.
