Dr. Bandettini is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. She pursued her Internal Medicine and General Cardiology training at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois and an advanced cardiovascular imaging fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. After completing her imaging fellowship, Dr. Bandettini remained at the National Institutes of Health as faculty. Currently, Dr. Bandettini is an Associate Research Physician within the Cardiology Branch of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Bandettini has been a member of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance for over 17 years and is actively engaged in performing research, teaching, and promoting clinical applications of CMR.
