Corporate America is recognizing the contributions of people with disabilities in its workforce. How does that work from the inside? What does that mean for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) who are seeking employment? What can chapters of The Arc do to get their foot in the door with corporations in their area to create those opportunities?
Vincenzo Piscopo is a Director of Community and Stakeholder Relations at The Coca-Cola Company. He is also the President and founder of This-ABILITY and the Wheels of Happiness Foundation where he uses his expertise to help people with motor disabilities in disadvantaged areas of the world. At Coca-Cola, Piscopo manages the relationships with disability, veterans, and Hispanic organizations as well as United Way and Hands-On Atlanta. At Convention, Piscopo will share his expertise and personal experience with disability to help us keep moving the needle on employment for people with I/DD.
