I am an occupational therapist and an Assistant Professor. I have been an occupational therapist for 20 years and have experience in evaluation and rehabilitation of pediatric patients with a variety of disabilities. I recently changed my focus from clinician to academician and research to expand the research base for clinicians. I have recently completed my PhD degree in Psychology. Due to the emphasis of the PhD curriculum on the study of cognition and instruction, cognition across the lifespan, and the neural correlates of cognition, I have gained an excellent knowledge base to participate in research in the area of cognition and cancer survivors. I recently completed a cognitive rehabilitation program for breast cancer survivors.
