Kristen Dams-O’Connor, Ph.D. is Director of the Brain Injury Research Center of Mount Sinai and Associate Professor in the Departments of Rehabilitation Medicine and Neurology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY. Her work is focused on understanding and improving long-term outcomes after brain injury, and characterizing clinicopathological signatures of TBI. She leads the Late Effects of TBI (LETBI) brain donor program, serves as Project Director of the New York Traumatic Brain Injury Model System, and her research is supported by federal grants from NIH, NIDILRR, DoD and PCORI.
