Shirley Ryan AbilityLab
Matt Giffhorn, PT, DPT, NCS is a research physical therapist in the Max Nader Center for Rehabilitation Technologies and Outcomes Research within the Center for Bionic Medicine (CBM) at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. He earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Saint Louis University. In 2017, he received a ABPTS Board Certification in Neurologic Physical Therapy. He has worked in acute rehabilitation for 5 years, predominately working with spinal cord injury and stroke populations. Research interests include projects focusing on the use of lower extremity robotics in rehabilitation.
