I received my degree at Hardin Simmons University in 2003 and have been working in the inpatient rehabilitation setting since that time. I have dedicated my career to the study and care of persons with stroke. I have completed advanced certification and have experience as a clinician from acute care to inpatient rehabilitation settings. I have been active in developing patient and staff educational programs, improving clinical practice, mentoring, and collaboration across the continuum for management and best practice for persons with stroke. I have presented at the national level, published an article, and am currently involved in multiple research project with the stroke population. I am dedicated and passionate about positively impacting in the lives of patients affected by stroke and improve patient outcomes through provision of evidence-based, high quality treatment.
