Christa Ochoa, MPH, CCRC, graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Public Health with a concentration in Biostatistics. Since 2015, she has worked in clinical research across various projects related to obesity, cognitive health, and patient outcomes and has successfully implemented new recruitment and retention strategies and navigated study start-up activities. Since joining the team at Baylor she has been a coordinator on studies specifically for people with SCI: 2 NIDILRR funded projects (Grant # 90IF0091-01-00, Grant # 90IFRE0022) and 1 Craig H. Neilsen Foundation (Grant # 541948). Ms. Ochoa will have the time to serve as 0.50FTE on the current proposal as clinical project coordinator.
