Speech-Language Pathologist/Clinical Research Scientist
Tracey Wallace, MS, CCC-SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist in Shepherd Center’s Complex Concussion Clinic and a Clinical Research Scientist in Shepherd Center's Crawford Research Institute. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the College of Communication Sciences and Special Education at the University of Georgia. Tracey has specialized in assessment and treatment of cognitive-communication in adolescents and adults with brain injury for nearly 20 years. She routinely engages in clinical research, provides mentorship to students and staff and participates in community outreach and advocacy. She has published and lectured nationally on outcome measurement, functional interventions and the use of technology in rehabilitation for brain injury. Tracey is currently a co-investigator on several active grant funded research projects focused on development and testing of emerging technologies for cognitive, psychological and physical rehabilitation.
