University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Ms. Yarnot is a graduate student in kinesiology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a research assistant in the Disability, Participation, and Quality of Life Research Laboratory. Ms. Yarnot's research interests center around physical activity and community participation’s impact on psychological well-being, particularly cognition, affect, and mental disorders in typically sedentary populations. Through her research in the DPQoL lab, she wishes to gain a better understanding of the barriers to community and physical activity participation for people with disabilities and use this information to develop interventions to enhance the quality of life of these individuals.
