Courtney Whyte is a Doctorate of Physical Therapy Candidate at New York Institute of Technology. Whyte graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2015 with her B.S. in Pre-Professional Studies. In addition to many jobs she has held in a physical therapy setting, Whyte worked as a lab assistant in a 3D motion analysis lab before pursuing her doctorate degree. This experience sparked her interest in research, specifically in the use of motion capture technology. Under the guidance of Dr. Rosemary Gallagher PT, DPT, PhD, GCS, Whyte has been involved in NYIT's motion capture laboratory and research with an interest in individuals post stroke. After graduating with her DPT in 2019, She plans to pursue a career in acute care physical therapy allowing her to work with a variety of patient populations.
