Roberta DePompei, PhD is Distinguished Professor Emerita and retired Dean of the College of Health Professions ad School Director of the School of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at the University of Akron. Her publications on traumatic brain injury include the recently released text "Pediatric traumatic brain injury: Proactive interventions (2019, 3rd ed.)". She has held board memberships in the Brain Injury Association of America and the International Paediatric Brain Injury Society. DePompei is an ASHA Fellow and received the Robert L Moody Prize for distinguished initiatives in brain injury research and rehabilitation.
